Al Sahaaba Mosque
One of the best tourist attractions in Sharm El Sheikh The Sahaaba Mosque is one of the most beautiful and magnificent mosques in Egypt and the Islamic world. Located in the coastal tourist city of Sharm El Sheikh, it is considered a unique architectural masterpiece, combining art, history, and religion. The mosque was built in the Ottoman style, inspired by the design of the Taj Mahal in India. It is characterized by two high minarets, multiple domes, and exquisite Islamic decorations. The mosque is 36 meters high, has an area of 3000 square meters, and can accommodate more than 3000 worshippers. The foundation stone of the mosque was laid in 2011, and it was inaugurated in 2017, after years of work and effort. The mosque cost about 30 million pounds, which was funded through donations and government support. The mosque was designed by Egyptian architect Fouad Tawfik Hafez, who used the experience and ingenuity of Egyptians in the art of architecture.
